Back to back ASP World Surfing titles in 1983 and 1984, a 1987 Pipe Masters win and 1989's first million dollar surf contract with Quiksilver built Tom Carroll's legend. He was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 1992 as a surfing pioneer.
