The Desert Stars sing in Pitjantjatjara about surviving the British atomic tests at Maralinga, carrying 2,000 generations of Spinifex cultural continuity through eighties rock riffs. The four piece are traditional landowners from remote Tjuntjuntjara in the Great Victoria Desert.
