Dr Nicholas Ng co-established the ANU Chinese Music Ensemble in 2003 before curating the Encounters: China festival and becoming an Associate Lecturer at Sydney Conservatorium, where he directs its first 150 piece Chinese Music Ensemble. His compositions have appeared at Sydney Festival and Brussels' Kunstenfestivaldesarts.
